Yes! Anything is possible. Possible but not easy. Due to a mind transformation last year, I decided to do everything I ever wanted to do. Essentially complete my bucket list goals (self-imposed challenges) and share the results online. This was VERY, VERY difficult and it didn't take long to realize that this was a LOT HARDER than I anticipated!!! I admit that at least twice I wanted to give this song up and choose a different one. I simply couldn't though....I committed to MYSELF no matter how long it would take, I would figure it out! In the beginning, I truly thought it would take at least 6 months to learn it but eventually it came together...around day 53! The challenges of not being able to read music made the first few weeks arduous-penciling in notes and matching them up to the keyboard. By far the speed was the hardest challenge of all. I had to increase the hours of practice to 3 hours per day in order to get the technique of fingering correct and memorize it. Two separate times, I strained the muscle at the base of my left thumb because it took so much effort to reach the notes that were so far apart. Thank you to the inventor of ice packs! In the end, there is no greater feeling than completion! Total time: 60 Days, Approximately 170 hours. YOU can apply the same strategy in any area of your life to achieve YOUR goals! STEPS TO SUCCESS: 1. VISION (imagine the end result, see yourself completing the goal!) 3. DECIDE (you must decide to never, EVER give up, no matter how difficult!) 4. MASSIVE ACTION (it takes a LOT more time and focus than we may think or want but it's what's necessary to get to the goal!) Thank you STEINWAY PIANOS in Phipps Plaza in Atlanta.
