This is my third self-imposed piano challenge since I started playing again in December 2016. At first, I played as a distraction to keep my emotions in check during divorce. Pouring it all into the piano. However, now that I have successfully mastered my emotions, I play for the love of music AND to set and conquer goals! This is more a goal-setting excercise than anything else. While this song was a little easier to play than the last one, I had the most difficulty with all the distractions of life! During this time, I went to Florida and LA for two weeks on vacation and then later the following month to Cuba for five days. Plus it's summer and I love going to the lake and being outside as much as possible. Collectively, I lost about three weeks of practice time. This set me back a bit but I was determined that I was going to finish this no matter what! Total time: 45 days, approximately 95 hours MY HOPE IS TO INSPIRE YOU.....to set a goal, any goal and conquer it!
