#tagalog #filipino #philippines This is PART 4 of our review of the Tagalog CASE MARKERS. Tagalog case markers are articles that are attached to nouns to make the noun stand and signal what the noun is all about. There are three main types of Tagalog case markers: • Direct markers • Indirect markers • Oblique markers In this video, we discuss the OBLIQUE Marker SA and its plural counterpart SA MGA. OBLIQUE MARKERS are locative words that point to the location where the verb is taking place. It is locative because it uses the word SA, which we learned in previous videos, is a preposition equivalent to the English, IN, ON, AT, TO, FOR, etc. Oblique markers also have a strong possessive nature in them Some sample sentences in this video include: • Ang bahay ay SA babae • The house is the lady's • Ang kotse ay SA lalaki • The car is the man's • Ang tali ay SA aso • The leash is the dog's • Ang baril ay SA sundalo • The gun is the soldier's • Ang libro ay SA estudyante • The book is the student's • Ang bag ay SA dalaga • The bag is the young lady's • Ang laruan ay SA bata • The toy is the child's MORE sample sentences are in the video. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TIME STAMPS 00:00 Tagalog Case Markers 01:43 Oblique Markers 02:22 The Marker SA 05:54 Flipped Sentence Pattern 07:45 The Marker SA MGA 09:10 SA + Personal Pronouns 10:47 Filled Sentences with SA + Personal Pronouns 12:08 Outro ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PREVIOUS VIDEOS Mastering Tagalog Case Markers | ANG and ANG MGA Part 1 (E110) • Mastering Tagalog Case Markers | ANG and A...
