Today, we are talking about the most comforting book I've ever read, A Wizard of Earthsea by Ursula K. Le Guin. This book is truly something else, and one of the foundational pillars of modern fantasy. It's fun, relaxing, and filled with lots of magic and emotional/philosophical moments. The prose in this feels effortless to read, and I compared it to an easy Sunday morning. This book gave me the same wonder and amazement that I felt reading fantasy as a young child. If you are looking for something light and quick to read but filled with complexity and philosophy that will have you thinking about it for days, then check this book out. Ursula K. Le Guin has now become one of my favorite authors of all time, up there with Rothfuss, King, and McCarthy, and I can't wait to see what else she has in store. I rated this novel 10/10.
