In Part 38, I put my new Daedric Longsword to the test while navigating a series of rank-up struggles, political reunions, and an absurd number of ambushes that just won't let me rest! The session begins with a dungeon crawl to identify a mysterious item. I encounter Scorpions and Burglars—foes I haven't seen in a long while—and slice through them easily with the Daedric blade. However, the identification goes south when the NPC turns hostile, and I’m quickly overwhelmed by Daedroth. After some trial and error (and a Scorpion ally!), I finally finish the quest and successfully rank up to Evoker in the Mages Guild. A major highlight of this part is a "game-changer" discovery: pressing "G" while on a path activates a super-speed mode! While it doesn't work on rivers or streams, it makes traveling the roads of the Iliac Bay much faster. My journey leads me back to the Castle of Daggerfall, where I reunite with the former Queen, Mynisera. Our meeting ends in chaos, however, as the castle guards suddenly turn hostile! The rest of the part is a gauntlet of survival. I am hunted for investigating the royal letters, often fighting off assassins under the Full Moon in my Werewolf form. My ship has become an ambush magnet—I can't seem to sleep without being attacked! To top it off, I find myself demoted in the Temple of Kynareth, forcing me to clear haunted houses and hunt "insane priests" to regain my standing.
