Darren Jones MP chats with YES Bristol about entry-level environmental work for young people

I recently met up with the co-directors of Youth Environmental Service (YES Bristol) to find out more about how they are supporting young people to spend a year doing paid work at environmental organisations. I'll be helping YES Bristol to make connections with employers across Bristol North West in the coming months to create entry-level environmental placements for local young people right here in the constituency. In this video, Mathilda and Nicholas, who are currently on placements with Avon Wildlife Trust and Bristol Climate & Nature Partnership, respectively, share their experiences, including how they didn't need a CV to apply for these entry-level positions. Filming location: Since it was a rare sunny day this February, we decided to meet in the great outdoors at one of the many green spaces in Bristol North West: Bennett’s Patch and White's Paddock, a nature reserve by the Portway that is managed by Avon Wildlife Trust.
