This episode features rich and aromatic Sawahli Biryani paired with smoky, tender Bhatti Walay Pasanday — a feast perfect for family dinners, festive occasions, and food lovers craving authentic desi cuisine. ✨ Show Name: Masala Mornings 👩🍳 Host: Shireen Anwar 📅 On-Air Date: 5 December 2025 📺 Channel: Masala TV Whether you are a biryani enthusiast or a lover of grilled meat, this episode has flavors that will inspire your next meal! 📌 RECIPE CARD SAWAHILI BIRYANI Ingredients Chicken 1 kg 12 pcs Salt 1 ½ tsp Ginger garlic 2 tbsp Green chili pastes 2 tbsp Button red chilies 12 boiled and grinded Hung curd 1 cup Coriander and mint leaves chopped 2 tbsp each Bombay biryani masala 2 tbsp Clarified butter ½ cup Brown onion ½ cup Green chilies 3-4 whole Ingredients for Cream Mixture Oil 2 tbsp Fresh cream 1 packet Saffron ½ tsp Cardamom powder ½ tsp Black pepper ½ tsp Cloves ¼ tsp Mace ¼ tsp Green chilies cut in halves 6 Fried onion ½ cup METHOD Heat 1 cup oil, fry onions till light golden, add in it the marinated chicken, fry well, add ½ cup water, cover and cook till chicken tender. Heat ¼ cup oil in another pan, add ½ packet cream. ½ cup brown onion, saffron, cardamom powder, black pepper crushed, cloves powder, mace, slightly cook all together, pour this over the rice and leave it on dum Ingredients for Rice Sela rice ¾ kg Whole spices mixed 1 tbsp Salt 2 tbsp Boiled rice with above ingredients until ¾ cooked TO ASSEMBLE Put boiled rice on top of the chicken, pour cream mixture and put on dum. BHATI WALE PASANDAY Ingredients Beef Pasanda 750 gm Papaya pastes 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp Cardamom powder ½ tsp Fennel powder ½ tsp Mace ¼ tsp Chili powder 2 ½ tsp Cumin roasted crushed 1 tsp Clove powder ¼ tsp Tikka boti masala 1 tbsp Allspice ½ tsp Yogurt ½ cup Cream 2 tbsp Roasted gram powder 1 tbsp Cashew nuts ground 2 tbsp Poppy seeds ground 1 tbsp Brown onion ground2 tbsp Coriander ½ bunch Mint ¼ bunch Green chilies 3 or ground together Clarified butter ½ cup METHOD Marinate pasanday with all the given ingredients and leave it overnight.
