Eastside Knockdown • Engine 12 Makes A Quick Fire Attack • Golden Gate in Stockton, California

Stockton Firefighters made a quick fire attack on Golden Gate on March 7th, 2025. Engine 12 arrived on scene of a single-story, single-family dwelling with fire showing from the front side of the structure. Engine 12 is contracted by the Eastside Fire District, who pays for four firefighters on the Engine. Engine 12 is currently the only engine in the Stockton Fire Department who has four firefighters staffed on their engine (all other engines are staffed with three firefighters). While there have been multiple national studies on how exponentially faster a crew of four firefighters than three; this video shows that the proof is in the pudding. This crew works exceptionally fast to deploy the fire attack line and advance it into the structure. This fire was extinguished quickly and without incident or injury. Crews would remain on scene for an hour while conducting overhaul and an investigation. We are proud to serve and protect the City of Stockton, California.
