This week I have been craving waffles so I decided to share my recipe with you. If you miss some of the waffles you used to eat that were high carb, I truly believe these will knock that craving out of the ballpark. These are fast to make, taste delicious and satisfy that waffles with maple syrup craving. The recipe with full macros is below. Macros are for ONE serving. Calories 141 Carbs 4 Fiber 2 Net Carbs 2 3 TB Almond Flour 1/2 tsp Baking Powder 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 1 tsp Oat Fiber (NOT oat flour) 1 TB Allulose Sweetener Pinch of Salt 1 Egg 1 tsp Water 1 TB Melted Butter Maple Syrup: 2 TB Wholesome Yum Simple Syrup 3-5 Drops Maple Syrup flavoring/extract Combine these well in a bowl. You can also heat it up if you prefer warm syrup on your waffles. Combine all of your dry ingredients in a mixing cup and stir well. Add in water, egg and melted butter. Stir very well and set aside. Heat up your mini dash waffle maker and spray with cooking oil spray. Place 1 1/2 TB batter in waffle maker. Cook for 2-4 minutes depending on how dark you like them. Repeat this process until all the batter is cooked. Serve your waffles with your zero carb maple syrup and enjoy!
