As a resident on Radio Buena Vida, they take a fluid yet fitful approach to mixing, blending the atonal and ethereal with the upbeat, playful, and percussive. They have played in support of artists such as Ancient Methods, Piezo, aircode, Ben Bertrand, Claire Rousay, and Shell Company. Along with slyn, they perform live as Double A and run Skinny Dipping, a gig series for women, trans, and non-binary artists working in the realm of experimental electronics. Noble Leisure is the alias of James Iball, a Glasgow-based musician and DJ. Through radio residencies on various Glasgow stations including Radio Buena Vida, Subcity, and Radiophrenia, in addition to booking for local venues Stereo and The Flying Duck, they have been a promoter and advocate for experimental music in Glasgow for several years. Over time they have hosted and supported shows for artists such as 96 Back, Jaeho Hwang, YL Hooi, KMRU, and Dylan Henner. Together, James and Alexis co-managed Subcity Radio from 2021-2022. They collaborated for the debut compilation from SLEEPIE RECORDS and have supported artists such as aya, Laksa, Clemency, k means, and Jennifer Walton.
