When I went to Los Angeles with Delta, I wasn’t expecting to take this flight back to NYC as I was originally planning to stay in LA until the end of the summer program and fly back with Delta on August 19. However, because a friend really badly wanted me to come back for the weekend for their birthday celebration and it was very cheap to change the flight to this date and get a very cheap deal with JetBlue, it all worked out and was able to take this flight home for the weekend and for the birthday. This flight, like the one on Delta to LA was a lot of fun. With views of large cities and airports, it was a fantastic experience. To clear the air and answer possible questions of ‘how do I know when I travel over a big city and airport” or “how do I know what aircraft is flying to point X,” it is that I am a longtime member of Flightradar24 and the gold annual plan, and I use it frequently. The app allows you to replay aircraft activity for up to a year and a lot of the information is very accurate. I also use Flightaware to document flight results in terms of how long the flight took, the distance we traveled and the exact time we took off and landed. All in all, I’ve been a longtime Delta flyer and this flight proved why Delta is right up there in terms of favorite airline. Great flight and I hope you guys enjoy the masterpiece that is the Boeing B767-300ER.
