Hey y'all welcome back! Today's video will have us finally return to the Oakawa Shogunate to feature a timelapse build of my new village: Satsuki, and the adjacent Enkei Shrine! This build consists of a Shinto Inspired Shrine and a village in a mangrove swamp supported by stilts. The Shrine is heavily inspired by Kamigamo Shrine in Kyoto, and the village draws inspiration from Jang Hui in Avatar the Last Airbender. Furthermore, it’s location embodies the faith of its people, who stalwartly respect the spirit of the swamp. The Enkei Shrine is a testament to the Oakawan faith, and is nestled in the village's northwest, with views of nearby Sakuramto Castle. The shrine's majestic Romon gate and serene Honden beckon worshippers and visitors alike, offering a tranquil sanctuary steeped in centuries of spiritual devotion and cultural reverence. The Enkei Shrine stands as a beacon of the villagers' faith, a place where the community gathers to honor their beliefs and traditions, fostering a deep sense of spiritual connection and unity. Woven together by a network of bridges, Satsuki Village's layout resembles a series of interconnected "islands," each hosting covered pavilions that foster vibrant trade and communication among villagers. Torii gates intricately divide the village into sections dedicated to faith, emphasizing the spiritual significance that permeates every corner of this unique settlement.
