IRAP’s New Survey Data from Haiti: Early Public Findings on Security, Justice, and Governance

Featuring Laurie Richardson and Louis-Henri Mars - This webinar presents the first public findings from the Institute for Research and Action for Peace (IRAP)’s 2025 data collection with internally displaced Haitians and community leaders in violence-affected neighborhoods of Port-au-Prince. Drawing on October 2025 survey data, the findings document sustained exposure to gang-related violence, widespread economic and psychological harm, deep concern about civilian casualties in security operations, limited confidence in force-based approaches, and low trust in the justice system’s capacity to deliver accountability.
