Hello everyone I am back for another round of trip reports. You may notice that this years videos have a new look to them, well I recently changed my editing program to imovie and I have also added a couple of new cameras as well. I now have a Gopro hero 5 and a Sony HD Handycam. In this video I am taking Westjet's new Regional service Westjet link from Lethbridge to Calgary, the service just started back in June of this year and I was really eager to try it out mostly cause I love flying Westjet. I got to the airport early about two hours before my flight gave me a chance to do some looking around the airport and stand outside and watch the Air Canada Express flight going up to Calgary to go out and to watch some of the other general aviation flight going out at the same time. Went through security with no problem, and just sat in the waiting room for the plane. Plane arrived on time, boarded shortly there after and we left on time. The flight to Calgary this year was pretty uneventful, until we got close to Calgary. Over Chestermere a Flair Airlines 737 flew just below and in front of our place I was lucky enough to catch it on camera and you'll hear me react to it as well. We landed on Runway 17L and taxied into our gate again on time. I really enjoyed the service expect I found the arm rests a little low that would be the only complaint I had but that was not the airlines fault I understand the aircraft came like that so not really too big of a deal.
