It’s really easy to help protect against cat fleas and ticks when you know how. Not quite sure how to apply FRONTLINE® Plus to your cat? Then you’ll love this video where Veterinary Surgeon Sioned along with pet owner Rowena and her cat B show you step-by-step how to do just that. Remember to always thoroughly read the instructions before applying. Also check your cat for any signs of skin lesions or if they look unwell, consult your vet before applying. There are 5 simple steps to follow: 1. First take off the collar. Holding the pipette upright and facing away from you, flick the neck so the product goes into the main body of the pipette and snap it open along the score line. 2. Apply FRONTLINE® Plus in one spot at the base of the neck in front of the shoulder blades – a place where your pet can’t reach or lick it. 3. Part the fur until you can see the skin and place the tip of the pipette directly on the skin, and gently squeeze. It’s very important to apply it to the skin as it is taken up by the skin and mixes with the pet’s natural oils and then distributed over the whole body. 4. Be careful not to touch the application area until it’s dry. The product kills ticks within 48 hours and fleas within 24 hours by making them hyperactive so fleas will be more visible when dying. 5. Now, to help protect against fleas and ticks simply treat all dogs and cats in the household with Frontline Plus every four weeks throughout the year. It’s as easy as that.
