To sprint through endless lines of code, to vault over legacy systems, to balance precariously on the cutting edge of innovation, and to gracefully land when a groundbreaking idea finally clicks... A seasoned tech innovator certainly needs these skills and more. But navigating the ever-shifting landscape of technology is much like an unpredictable urban parkour course: where algorithms emerge from the mist, where data streams rush like torrents, and where the only consistent rule is constant change. Is it truly possible to flow through this dynamic environment, to transform digital obstacles into opportunities, to embrace the dizzying pace of discovery, and even to find genuine exhilaration in the continuous leap forward? Happily, yes, yes, and with every byte! Anıl Çekiç is an executive and academic specialized in the fields of technology and education. He studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Middle East Technical University, earned a master’s degree in Computer Engineering, and received his Ph.D. in Management Sciences from Hacettepe University. For nearly 10 years, he held senior positions at Microsoft Turkey, focusing on public and industry solutions, during which he won numerous international achievement awards. After his time at Microsoft, he founded a technology company called Cerebrum Tech, which focuses on artificial intelligence, Web3, the metaverse, and smart cities, where he currently serves as the CTO. He also continues his academic work as a lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University. His areas of expertise include digital transformation, artificial intelligence, big data, and public sector technologies. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
