When we purchased our new chickens last fall we ordered multiple roosters for each of our flocks so we could watch them grow and them keep the best ones for our flocks. Today is the day where Brooklyn and I head out to determine who is staying and who is going. We are raising bielefelder and black austrolorp chickens which are both dual purpose breeds.
