12AUG2025 Appalachian Trail thru hike Day 163 (*170) 22.2 mile day to Hurd Brook Lean-to. The terrain supported an extra long day for us to be in good position to enter Baxter State Park (prison). There were a number of beautiful pond views as well as views of Katahdin from multiple sites. Definitely have the feels as this journey comes to a close.
