EP 3 On Top of the World to Goats on the Roof in Door County Wisconsin on our Great Loop adventure!

In this video, we take the marina's courtesy car "Gracie" out for a tour of Washington Island - the largest in Door County, Wisconsin. We visit the amazing Schoolhouse Beach, a little farm museum, the mountain park steps and drive all the way to the northeast end where you can take a ferry to Rock Island State Park. Drove back to the marina, returned the car and started up the boat to head to Sister's Bay. One of the quintessential towns in Door County, Sister's Bay is not to be missed. While we were there we were invited to go to the famous Al Johnson's Swedish Restaurant, known for having goats on their green grass roof. We met Gold Loopers Scott and Amy Heidler in Fayette a couple days before and what a delight to have a tasty breakfast with them! We are already finding out that boating on America's Great Loop introduces you to amazing new friends! Then they took us to the grocery store for some needed provisions. Note the Aurora borealis we experienced while there - it was the icing on the cake!
