EP 7 Milwaukee Surprised Us! From the perfect anchorage to the incredible Basilica and art museum!

In this episode, we enjoy three amazing days in what we now feel is a very underrated city! Milwaukee has a great feel about it and we found the people to be very friendly. Our perfect little anchorage in the state park cove was right downtown and so well protected! There were bike and walking paths all round us and we found it easy to get around by walking, transit and even by dinghy. The atmosphere downtown by the water was a lot of fun with music, food trucks and even pickleball! The public market was modeled after Seattle's own Pike Place Market and was a delight for the senses. The highest rated thing to do in Milwaukee by Trip Advisor is the FREE tour of the Basilica of St. Josaphat. We took the dinghy as far as we could go, navigating various channels on the river and then walked the rest of the way. Oh my goodness!! It literally blew our minds! No wonder it's almost a unanimous 5 star rated attraction! Let's just say you gotta see it to believe it and we show you some glimpses here in our video. One of the other highly ranked things to do and see is the Milwaukee Art Museum. We just happened to be there for the "pay-what-you-wish admission" every Thursday from 4 to 8pm and it was well worth our time and donation!! We had a wonderful time in Milwaukee and eagerly look forward to returning! We left a few things on the table like the Harley Davidson Museum and the Pabst Mansion just to name a couple.
