If you're using a setup like the Meta Quest 3 with Steam VR and struggling to get things running right, this guide might just save you a lot of time. ⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: Apologies for the audio bugs in this video — the intro repeats and there’s a sound tone shift mid-way when I switch settings. It’s annoying but doesn’t affect the advice. Keeping it real — raw but helpful! 🛠️ Troubleshooting Steps Covered: ✅ Steam Launch Options: Add text to the launch options in Steam (right-click RaceRoom → Properties → Launch Options). I used: -vr 1.6 – you can experiment with different values for clarity. 🎮 Launch from SteamVR, not directly from desktop. 🔊 Fixing Sound Loss: If you lose sound in VR, change your Windows output audio device after launching SteamVR — this was tripping me up repeatedly. 🕶️ Black Screen Issue: If the game loads (you hear audio) but the VR display is blank, it may be rendering off-center. Launch the game on a flat screen, go to Controller/Buttons → set a key for Recenter VR View → save & exit. Relaunch via SteamVR, and when the game loads (sound but no screen), use your recenter button — and boom, you should see the menu and "Press Any Key to Continue" screen.
