Working Wetlands - Living Landscapes in action

A short film looking at a Devon Wildlife Trust Living Landscape scheme - Working Wetlands. This project is working at a landscape-scale to restore and reconnect areas of wildlife-rich culm grassland across north Devon. It's a new approach to nature conservation where working with partners and landowners is enabling the Trust to work beyond the boundaries of their nature reserves and over much larger areas of the countryside. This helps to create a more sustainable future for wildlife including threatened species which rely on areas of culm grassland such as the marsh fritillary butterfly and the curlew. In the film we interview various partners and landowners involved with the Working Wetlands project and they explain their role in helping Devon Wildlife Trust to deliver landscape-scale nature conservation.
