Crossfit Open Workout 25.1

First off, I have not signed up. This is very reminiscent of 24.1 last year. Just adding a walking lunge in there. Kind of wish they were overhead to cause some more separation. Unfortunately I can't do this distance in less than 6 steps. So someone who can do it in 5 will already save 40 seconds on my time without chsnging anything else. Taller athletes will have an advantage especially since burpees are over and not standing tall. I opted to start switching arms in the round of 12. Then went to 5s each arm etc. I wanted to be sure to use the first one as ground to shoulder as that would save some time. Very unique rule implemented this year and I'm here for it. I went with hop down step up burpees. This i figured I could sustain for 100 reps. I thought the round of 27 would be where I would fall. Didn't finish the live announcement before trying my attempt to see. Never want to know where the elite land. The goal was to just hold on. It becomes a heart rate workout at 2 minutes. A mental workout at 6 minutes. A physical workout at 9 minutes and lastly a heart workout at the 13 minute mark. I enjoyed this one even though I won't know if I'll do better on the 2nd attempt until the heart comes into play 13 minutes in. 15 minute AMRAP of 3-6-9-12-15-etc. Lateral Burpees over Dumbbell, Dumbbell Hang Clean to overhead 50lb. 30 ft walking lunge 2x15ft. Finished 8+5 RX Unbroken.
