You’re sitting at a red light. It turns green. The car in front of you doesn’t move. In seconds, your body reacts. Tension. Irritation. Maybe even rage. That moment feels small, yet it exposes something deeper. Anger was already there. It’s been forming in the background through a hundred tiny frustrations. In this message from our Virtues and Vices series, we slow down and examine what happens when anger starts controlling us rather than simply passing through us. Paul’s words in Ephesians 4 speak with uncomfortable clarity: “Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and give no opportunity to the devil.” Ephesians 4:26 to 27 ESV Scripture acknowledges anger as real and human.
