Recorded at Dim42, Rynok Square, Lviv, this walkthrough introduces Dwellings for Spirits (2025). It is a collaborative installation by Janina Pedan, Katya Kopeikina, and Anna-Mariia Kucherenko, presented as part of Chalk Circle, the public programme of The Stammering Circle exhibition curated by Marta Kuzma, Faktura 10 Artistic Director and Chief Curator, and held across various venues in Lviv. Reflecting on the legacy of ornament and its relation to memory and modernity, the work unfolds across two rooms in Dim42: the Green Room, which builds on Kucherenko’s Archive of Forms project to challenge dominant narratives of Ukrainian visual history, and the Pink Room, where Kopeikina reclaims ornament through drawing and fantasy in response to Adolf Loos’s 1908 essay Ornament and Crime.
