In a pan, add jaggery with little water and melt it. Strain impurities. Add mashed banana to the jaggery syrup and cook well. Pour coconut milk and mix gently (do not boil too much). Add cardamom powder. In ghee, fry cashew and raisins and add to payasam. 👉 “Delicious banana jaggery payasam is ready 😍” Varuthu Araicha Mor Kuzhambu Ingredients Curd – Cooked Ash Gourd – medium cubes Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp Salt – as needed Asafoetida – 1 pinch Curry Leaves Coriander Leaves For Tempering Coconut Oil – 1 tsp Mustard – 1 tsp Urad Dal – 1 tsp. Red Chilli – 1 For Roasting and Grinding Rice & toor dal soaked 1 tsp Chana Dal – ½ tsp Methi Seeds – ¼ tsp Coriander Seeds – ¼ tsp Green Chilli – 2 Red Chilli – 1 Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp Salt 👩🍳 Steps: In a bowl, whisk the curd nicely till smooth. Add 1 tsp besan and mix well (no lumps). Grind Rice & toor dal soaked 1 tsp green chilli, cumin and ginger into a paste. Add this paste + turmeric + salt to curd mixture. Heat this on low flame and keep stirring continuously. 👉 Very important: do NOT boil, it may curdle Once it becomes slightly thick and hot, switch off. Do tempering with mustard seeds, red chilli and curry leaves. Pour over the mor kuzhambu. 👉 “Simple, tasty mor kuzhambu without coconut is ready 🙏”
