The All Blacks' spiritual home of Eden Park has won Auckland Council's support over a shiny new Waterfront stadium. Councillors voted 17-2 to endorse in principle a staged redevelopment of Eden Park as the best and most feasible option it had before it. Auckland's waterfront stadium - is definitely not dead in the water - but the council has sucked some oxygen out of it today.
