Patal Bhuvaneshwar: A Mystical Journey into the Underground Temple 🌄 Join me as we continue our Kumaon adventure, traveling from Munsiyari to the sacred Patal Bhuvaneshwar! 🚗 The Long Yet Scenic Drive to Patal Bhuvaneshwar We left Munsiyari early in the morning, knowing that we had to cover a distance of 126 km, which would take us around 4.5 hours. Our route took us down the mountains, retracing our path through Kalamuni, Ratapani, Tejam, Nachani, and Thal, until we reached Udyari Band. From there, we continued our journey via Berinag and Raiagar towards Patal Bhuvaneshwar. ⛰️ Unexpected Roadblocks – A Herd of Mountain Goats! As we passed Khaliya Top Gate, we were met with a classic mountain moment—a herd of goats blocking the road! We had to wait 5-7 minutes for them to clear the way, but such experiences are part of the charm of traveling in the Himalayas. ⛽ Refueling & Breakfast Stop at Kakar Singh Band Since diesel supply doesn’t reach Munsiyari, we had to refuel at Kakar Singh Band, the nearest station. After fueling up, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast of puri bhaji before continuing on our way. 🚙 Quick Stop at Ramganga River A few kilometers ahead, we saw a dirt road leading to the Ramganga River. We parked our car and took a short break to admire the stunning natural beauty of the riverbanks before resuming our journey. 🛕 Arriving at Patal Bhuvaneshwar – A Divine Experience Finally, we reached Patal Bhuvaneshwar, a mystical underground temple known for its spiritual significance and fascinating rock formations. 📍 First Stop: The Old Patal Bhuvaneshwar Temple Before entering the famous cave temple, we visited the ancient Shiva temple nearby. Here, we performed Jalabhishek (holy water offering) on the Shivling and listened to the temple’s history from the priest. 📍 Exploring the Patal Bhuvaneshwar Cave Next, we walked down to the entrance of the Patal Bhuvaneshwar cave. Since mobile phones and cameras are not allowed inside, we deposited them at the office before purchasing entry tickets (₹30 per person). Inside the cave, a government guide led us through the narrow, twisting passageways and explained the mythological and historical significance of the rock formations. The cave is believed to be a gateway to Lord Shiva’s abode and features naturally formed idols of 33 crore Hindu deities! The experience was truly surreal, as the cave’s mystical aura and the ancient carvings transported us into another world. 🌌 The Final Leg: Journey to Almora After emerging from the divine depths of Patal Bhuvaneshwar, we got back on the road, heading towards Almora, our final stop for the day. 📍 Distance: 119 km | Travel Time: 3.5 hours The journey was long, and by the time we reached Almora, night had already fallen. 🛏️ A Well-Deserved Rest Before More Adventures! Tired but thrilled by our day’s experiences, we settled in for the night, ready for more explorations in the beautiful Kumaon region. 📢 Stay Tuned for More Himalayan Adventures! 📍 Up next: Exploring Almora & Beyond! ✨ If you enjoyed this vlog, make sure to: 👍 LIKE this post 📢 SHARE with fellow travelers 💬 COMMENT your favorite part of the journey 🔔 SUBSCRIBE & turn on NOTIFICATIONS to keep up with my Kumaon travel series! 🚶♂️ See you in the next vlog! 🏔️✨ #PatalBhuvaneshwar #MunsiyariToPatalBhuvaneshwar #KumaonDiaries #HimalayanRoadTrip #SpiritualJourney #UttarakhandTourism #HiddenGems #TravelWithMeमुनस्यारी #patalbhuvneshwar #patalbhuvneshwargufa #patakbhuvneshwaruttarakhand #munsyaritopatalbhuvneshwar #munsyari #berinag #chaukori #uttarakhand #uttarakhanddiaries #uttarakhandtourism #uttarakhandtouristplaces #templesofuttarakhand #manishdadheech #manishdadheech18 #ragingbullvlogs #travelvlogs2025
