They are super scared and anxious I HAVE A LOT OF OPINIONS and maybe I am wrong about a lot of things.. As I mention in the video, I am NOT a dog trainer!!! Not everything I experience is true for everyone and I am well aware that every dog is different! I am always trying to approach life with Poppy the same way I do for me and that is open and brave (and a bit German lol). I think as dog owner you have a responsibility to give your dog the best life possible and that includes watching out for them but also to give them joy and adventure and FUN. Often we hear things about breeds and already assume that it will be just like that and give up without even trying. Dogs require consistency, patience and time, no breed is an exception. There are many things that are not going great with Poppy (recall, picky eater, hard to calm down in new places, jumping,…) and I hope you don’t think I got it all figured out- I really don’t… I just want to give a bit of insight in the life with an Iggy because it’s such a wonderful and loving breed and there are many misleading and ill-researched videos out there..
