✨ Soft & Spongy Dhokla Without Oven, Eno, or baking powder ✨ In today’s video, I’m sharing a simple and easy homemade Dhokla recipe – super soft, spongy, and fluffy – made without any oven, baking powder, or Eno! Yes, it’s possible, and it turns out absolutely delicious! Perfect for breakfast, tea-time snack, or even a light dinner. 😍 🎥 Watch the full recipe to see how you can make this Gujarati-style dhokla using basic ingredients you already have at home. --- 📝 Ingredients: For Batter: 1 cup water 1 tsp citric acid (Mitha Phool) 1 tsp salt 3 tbsp sugar 2 cups gram flour (besan) Water as needed 1 tbsp oil 1 tsp baking soda For Steaming: Water (for boiling in kadhai) Greased tin or container A stand or ring For Tadka: 1 tbsp oil 1 tsp mustard seeds Curry leaves 2-3 chopped green chillies A pinch of hing 1 cup water 2 tbsp sugar Salt to taste --- 🧑🍳 Instructions (Summary): 1. Mix citric acid, salt, and sugar in water. 2. Add gram flour (besan) and mix well. Add oil and rest for 5 minutes. 3. Grease a tin, boil water in kadhai, and place a stand. 4. Add baking soda + little water to the batter, mix and pour immediately into the mold. 5. Steam for 35-40 mins. 6. Prepare tadka using mustard seeds, curry leaves, chillies, hing, water, sugar, and salt. Let it boil. 7. Cool down the dhokla, demold, cut into pieces, pour tadka on top & enjoy! --- 📌 Tips: Make sure to mix the batter well after adding baking soda.
