I got some requests to make a video about how to make a waveform out of a vector graphic. So here goes. I'm a Windows user. Most of these apps will run on Linux, all of them on Windows, and I don't know know about Macs. I tried to make the information complete and easy to follow, having once been a PD-newbie. When your muscle memory kicks in, you should be able to go from an SVG drawing to waves on your oscilloscope in two or three minutes.
