Flight across the Humber

This video captures the end of my 98km paraglider flight from Bradwell to Market Weighton, on 10th August 2025. I got to Bradwell, just as the first gaggle was leaving. It was thermic and quite gusty, and wind was south of west, which isn't ideal for Bradwell. People were heading for Scarborough or Bridlington, but I thought I would just see where the wind took me. I forgot to turn on the camera until I came in sight of the Humber, from 5000ft. The sky ahead was blue and I should have just kept turning in the weak lift/sink, but instead I ended up running downwind, getting low and landing on a Polo pitch, where I was offered coffee and cake by Janet and Joy, who where the clean-up team for the recent Polo match. They also kindly drove me to Beverley station, where I joined several (more successful) pilots on the train from Scarborough to Sheffield.
