The first of many episodes, to start with my story, updated to where I am now, as I am on my 4/5th year into this recovery, from an initial benzo harm and pollydrugging nightmare. ( I originally went in for tinnitus ) Stay tuned! For the awareness on a much needed hidden area in our world, full of over prescribing, wrongly diagnosing and denial that these medications certainly have a dark side! Discussing.. Antidepressants, benzodiazepines and antipsychotic. To stress that I'm also aware of the other side to medication and that it can support in various situations, so I'm certainly not judging anyone on medication - the harm caused is really from the misinformation on tapering and no informed consent of the risks. Also some people are chemically sensitive and just dont take to medication, this all really needs to be put into a Drs awareness. This is not medical advice, it is speaking from lived experience.
