Homerun to Claimjumper is a beginner ski run located on Park City Mountain at Park City Mountain Resort. The trail runs from the top of the Silverlode, Motherlode, and Bonanza chairlifts near the Summit House Lodge, down to the bottom of the Silverlode Express lift and the Miners Camp Lodge. The run starts out on Homerun, which runs across the main ridgeline at the center of the mountain, initially under the Bonanza chairlift. After straying slightly to the left of the lift and just before an intersection near the top of the Crescent Express lift, Claimjumper exits to the skier's left off of the trail. Claimjumper, which is also a moderately wide and mellow trail makes its way pretty straight down to the Miners Camp Lodge and the bottom of the Silverlode Express lift and the Quicksilver Gondola. Park City Mountain Resort is a ski resort located in Park City, Utah. The resort is located in western Summit County and is located about a 45-minute drive east of the state's capital and largest city, Salt Lake City. The resort spans two separate areas connected by a gondola: Park City Mountain and Canyons. Park City Mountain rises up from near the center of town, serving a large variety of trails through the area for all ability levels. Meanwhile, Canyons is located a few miles north of town and has a more horizontal, spread-out layout. Canyons caters more to intermediates, with a variety of blue runs located across the area. Plenty of advanced terrain can also be found, however, with the most extreme runs being located off of the famous 9990 Express chairlift, which exclusively serves double-black terrain. The two areas were separately owned until 2014 when Vail Resorts, the owner of Canyons at the time, purchased the Park City Mountain area from Powdr Corporation, after multiple years of litigation involving the Powdr's lease on the land. Then, in 2015, the Quicksilver Gondola was built between the two sides, joining the two ski areas together for the first time. Park City Mountain was also a venue for the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics, hosting multiple skiing and snowboarding events. Since the resort is owned by Vail Resorts, the resort is on the Epic Pass with the full pass granting unlimited access to the resort.
