Her husband, U-S President Bill Clinton, is one of the world leaders taking part in the talks. He arrived in Birmingham late on Thursday night. Mrs. Clinton flew in from Geneva, where she spoke at a session marking the 50th anniversary of the World Health Organization. Although the First Lady had stayed at the same hotel as Cuban President Fidel Castro and Castro attended her speech to the W-H-O, the two did not appear together at any other receptions.
