I ran 55 miles across seven days — which on paper sounds solid. But when you zoom out and remember the goal is 50 miles in one day at the North Downs Way 50, it hits differently. In this video I talk through that realisation. What 55 miles in a week actually feels like, how it compares to the idea of running 50 in a single day, and what that means for my training over the next 11 weeks.
