This isn't to say this fleet is really strong compared to something like missile spam, it's just to show how mobility and strategy can play a part to make a fleet better without boosting their stats with smods, cyber aug and so on. Move a fast ship to the front center of the map to verify which point the AI is assaulting in the beginning Capture the point the AI capturing with a token force, do whatever it takes to slow down the AI from capturing any points until 240 DP can be launched. Once 240 DP is launched, start picking apart the enemy fleet by capturing enemy points behind their frontlines. Only harass (avoid) their frontline, do not commit to attacking them. Destroy enemy ships until the enemy reveals a weakness and then pounce on it. Repeat until either the enemy AI stops capturing points (takes some 8-12 minutes, I haven't timed it), you win or you retreat and re-engage to repeat this gruella warfare. You can use superior mobility of small craft to surround and disable high threat targets with emp or intense kinetic damage once they are isolated. make sure these surrounding small ships have 360 degree shields or a shield with damper. With S-mods, there's plenty of ships you can have work. Without s-mods, only really Omen is up to the task, though centurion could possibly work for a limited time. Big threats to worry about: Do not let the Odysseys engage a Nova, Radiant or similar directly, this is extremely important. They are there to help kill stragglers quickly or provide locust/sabot damage while your wolfpack disables the enemy. Worry about enemy sabot and tachyons or similar hard to evade burst damage, that kills your small ships. At least small ships like frigates and destroyers are cheap to replace.
