Hello, This is a 1957 Ford Thunderbird 312 engine I built for D&D Auto Body. The engine is out of a one owner car. From what I understand the Thunderbird was purchased for the owners wife. I'm not sure how the car was stored, but the engine was in bad shape. The crankshaft had the typical cracks in it as most 312 will have. All pistons had been damaged from weather. All valves had heavy pitting and/or cracks. The rocker shafts had deep scoring. And all oil passage ways had been plugged with old sludge. Now the engine runs great and will be powering the 1957 Thunderbird once again. Engine: Ford Y-Block CI: 317 (312 bored .030 over) Bore: 3.83 Stroke: 3.44 New pistons New connecting rods New crankshaft Rebuilt original 4150 Holley carburetor Rebuilt original 12V generator Rebuilt original 12V starter New fuel pump New oil pump New water pump New timing chain New crank sprocket New camshaft sprocket New camshaft (as close to stock as we could find) New updated harden rocker shafts New solid lifters New harden pushrods New valves New valve guides New springs Rebuilt original distributor Fel-Pro gaskets Thank you for watching Another project by Jason
