The I7-4790k Haswell processor struggles to emulate a Pentium II 450 mhz slot 1 cpu, and that is even when I used the Haswell optimized version of 86Box. 86Box is a fork of PCEM, or it was developed from PCEM. PCEM was very CPU intensive, and 86Box is no different.
