每位機師的旅程，都是從一個飛行夢開始。 學院的《見習機師培訓課程》為期約14個月，旨在培育本地新一代民航機師。學員會先於香港國際航空學院接受約6個月地面理論課程。通過考試後，學員會到美國加州或內地成都，展開約 8 至10個月的飛行訓練，當中包括飛行模擬器、單引擎和雙引擎飛機的操作訓練，之後回港再作約兩星期的多機組成員協作(Multi-Crew Cooperation) 課程。完成整個課程的學員，將獲發香港商用（飛機）飛行員執照，可以投考自己心儀的本地航空公司，開展翱翔之路。 學院邀請了首兩班學員親身分享他們的培訓歷程與感受，一同見證他們如何逐步實現飛行夢想，啟航未來。 課程資料: https://bit.ly/3wJjn9S Every pilot starts with a flying dream to soar. HKIAA’s Cadet Pilot Programme spans approximately 14 months. The programme is designed to nurture the next generation of local airline pilots. It comprises two parts: students will first take approximately 6 months of Theoretical Knowledge Instruction (TKI) at HKIAA. After passing the exams, they will proceed to California, United States or Chengdu, Mainland China, for approximately 8 to 10 months of Flight Training, which includes training on both Flight Training Devices and single- and twin-engine aircraft. Students will then return to Hong Kong for a two-week Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Course to complete the final phase of the integrated programme. Graduates of the programme will be eligible for the grant of a CAD Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) to apply for their preferred local airlines and embark on their professional aviation journey.
