香港國際航空學院《見習機師培訓課程》為期約14個月。學員會先在香港接受約6個月的地面理論課程；通過考試後，會前往美國加州或內地成都，展開約8至10個月的飛行訓練，然後回港再作約兩星期的多機組成員協作（Multi-Crew Cooperation）課程。畢業學員將獲發香港商用（飛機）飛行員執照，可報考心儀的本地航空公司，展開翱翔藍天的職業生涯。 第一班畢業生Gary在美國飛行訓練期間，遇上一位因材施教的導師，讓他真正體會到飛行的專業與使命。Gary認為，要成為一名機師，必須對自己和飛行抱有野心，才能堅守機師的四大原則：飛行的知識、技術、態度及責任。 立即觀看影片，一起見證他如何在導師的啟發下，找到屬於自己的新跑道，並以自信展開飛行之旅！ HKIAA’s Cadet Pilot Programme spans approximately 14 months. Students begin with approximately six months of Theoretical Knowledge Instruction (TKI) in Hong Kong. After passing the exams, they proceed to California, US or Chengdu, Mainland China for approximately 8 to 10 months of Flight Training. They then return to Hong Kong for a two-week Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) course. Graduates will be eligible for the grant of a CAD Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) to apply for their preferred local airlines and embark on their professional aviation journey. Gary, a graduate of the first class of the Programme, met a mentor during his flight training in the United States who taught with patience and precision. This experience helped him truly understand the professionalism and responsibility behind flying. Gary believes that to become a pilot, one must carry ambition—for oneself and for aviation. Only with that mindset can a pilot uphold the four essential principles: knowledge, skill, attitude, and responsibility.
