This video reviews how years of research in the U.S. and around the world shows GMO foods are just as safe to eat as non-GMO foods. Additionally, any long-term health effects from GMO foods are no different than those from non-GMO foods. There are even GMO plants created with improved nutritional value. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) launched Feed Your Mind, the Agricultural Biotechnology Education and Outreach Initiative, to help consumers better understand genetically engineered foods, commonly called GMOs or genetically modified organisms.
