You Won't Believe This FORD XA Hardtop Survivor

In this episode, we catch up with our good mate Gino—who, true to form, has added another classic to his collection! But this time, there was a twist. Under a bit of "friendly encouragement" from his wife, Gino had to sell before he could buy. So, after parting ways with his Boss Mustang, he jumped at the chance to snag this stunning coupe. This beauty still wears its original factory Cosmic Blue paint XA Ford Falcon GS Hardtop, which has held up impressively well with minimal rust—always a win when it comes to coupes! The original Parchment trim is in fantastic condition for its age, and under the hood, you’ll find the factory 302 V8 with a two-barrel carb. The only upgrades? A set of extractors and a 3-inch exhaust for a bit more growl. Gino has some plans to fine-tune it, but he’s keen to keep it as original as possible. The history of this coupe is a cracker—it once toured Australia towing a caravan before landing in a second-hand shop for next to nothing. After that, it sat on a farm for years, barely driven but well stored, until Gino got his hands on it. Now, it’s in the hands of someone who truly appreciates classic Fords, and we can’t wait to see what he does with it over the next 12 months—that is, if he doesn’t sell it first!
