Malai Pyaz ki Sabji - जब कोई सब्ज़ी न हो तब बनाये टेस्टी मलाई प्याज की सब्जी – FoodieFriend malai pyaj ki sabji, मलाई प्याज की सब्जी, pyaz ki sabji, rajasthani malai pyaaz ki sabji, malai ki sabji, pyaaz ki sabji Hey friends, Try this yummy malai pyaz ki sabji and do tell me in comments how it turned out for you. 1 cup=250 ml 1 tbsp=15ml 1 tsp=5ml Prep time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 15 minutes Serve: 4 Ingredients: Onion- 6 medium sized Mustard oil -2 tbsp Hing – ¼ tsp Cumin seeds – 1 tsp Bay leaf - 1 Black cardamom – 1 Grated ginger – 1 tsp Dry red chili – 2 Green chili – 2 chopped Turmeric powder – ½ tsp Degi red chili powder -1 tsp Coriander powder – 1 tsp Salt to taste Puree of 2 medium tomatoes Fresh cream – 250 ml or 1 cup Dry mango powder/ amchur powder – ¼ tsp Fenugreek/kasuri methi – 1 tsp Coriander leaves to garnish Recipe: Peel onion and cut into 4 parts. Roughly separate the petals. In a kadai, heat oil preferably mustard oil but you can use any. Add hing and cumin seeds. Add bay leaf, black cardamom, grated ginger. Cook for few seconds Add dry red chili, green chili, turmeric powder, degi red chili powder and coriander powder. Mix well. Add salt to taste and tomato puree. Cook till oil leaves the pan and the mixture combines well. Add frsh cream. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add amchur powder, kasuri methi and coriander leaves. Mix well.
