Matcha Uiro Recipe: INGREDIENTS: (4 servings) 2 tsp. matcha 60 g sugar 50 g kamishin powder 40 g arrowroot 2 tbsp. cake flour 100 mL milk 100 mL water PROCEDURE: Step 1. Combine matcha and sugar. Mix well then set aside. Step 2. In a large bowl, put the arrowroot and add 50 mL of water mixing and crushing the chunks (if any) with a spoon until mixture is smooth. Step 3. Add the kamishin powder and cake flour. Stir in a little of water then add the mixture from Step 1. Add the rest of the water and mix everything well. Step 4. Pour in the milk into the mixture from Step 3. Stir and mix until smooth crushing any lumps that may be present. Step 5. Strain the mixture into a baking dish or any heat-resistant container. Wrap the top with a plastic making sure to leave a little gap at the edge for the steam to escape. Step 6. Place the container on top of two disposable chopsticks (or similar) before putting and cooking in a 600 W oven for 6 minutes. Step 7. Remove from the oven, open up the wrap and check if there are parts that seem still uncooked. Return to oven if so and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Step 8.
