This service is used to transfer locomotives and wagons for repairs or servicing; once complete, they are transferred back to Melbourne. On this occasion, SSR, a week earlier, ran the down valet service but no return service as the loco's were used to run up the Swan Hill line as a rail validation run, as seen in the video, the 2 P class loco's return to Bendigo this morning. later around 1pm the down valet arrived at Bendigo with B80, B76, P14, P15 and a grain hopper the 2 B class loco's were removed at Bendigo frieght yard and the 2 P's from earlier this morning were attached then went to Bendigo North workshops where they were to pick up H1, A78 and H2 these 3 loco's are to be transffered to Seymour. Unfortunately, due to work commitments, I was unable to chase the train all the way, so I had to stop at Taradale.
