So we continue our video series with the new Roland VAD 503 kit, which is the smaller "vintage rock look" brother of the VAD 506. VAD = V-Drums Acoustic Design (!) The "hard facts": -New PDA-100, PDA-120 and PDA-140F tom pads have "real" acoustic shell sizes and are equipped with a brand new 3 sensor trigger system, that delivers an authentic playing feel without "hot spotting" in the center of the head. -The VAD kits come with the new TD-27 sound module, that combines sounds/features of the TD-17 and TD-50. It replaces it's predecessor TD-25 as the new Roland "middle class" sound module. -TD-27 is compatible with Roland´s digital pads, both new VAD kits are equipped with a CY-18DR digital ride and a PD-140DS digital snare.
