Join us for a truly unforgettable adventure as we tackle the majestic Bobotov Kuk, the highest peak in Montenegro, located in the breathtaking Durmitor National Park! This day hike starts right at the Sedlo Pass and is a true test of endurance, featuring an exhilarating climb of nearly 900 meters of elevation gain over approximately 5 to 6 kilometers to the summit. The Challenge & The Reward: The Ascent: We push through steep, rocky terrain, including a couple of challenging but thrilling sections. Safety First: Good news! The safety cables along the route have all been recently renewed/upgraded, making those trickier parts manageable and relatively safe to pass through. We show you exactly how to navigate them! The Summit: Witnessing the moment we stand atop the "Roof of Montenegro" is a truly magical experience. The 360-degree views of the Durmitor massifs and glacial lakes are simply unparalleled. Logistics: Starting Point: Sedlo Pass Distance: Approx. 11-13 km (round trip) Vertical Gain: Approx. 1200m Conditions: Be aware, there is virtually no cell service on most of the trail, so preparation is key!
