New Hampshire Art Association Congratulations to the NH Art Association--winner of the 2023 Small but Mighty Business of the Year! In the past year, they have demonstrated significant growth by expanding exhibition opportunities for regional artists and welcoming young talent into their organization. Their commitment to community engagement shines through partnerships with organizations like Seacoast Outright, Arts In Reach, Racial Unity Team, Queerlective, and others. With the support of generous donors, they've transformed their headquarters with a new welcome desk, modern gallery furniture, and state-of-the-art lighting, reflecting their dedication to creating a welcoming and innovative space for artists and visitors. Furthermore, their WC Gallery, featuring avant-garde exhibitions in the public bathroom, showcases their creative and inclusive approach to art. NHAA's Biennial One exhibition, curated by Lorenzo Fusi, the chief curator at the Currier Museum of Art, represents their commitment to promoting the work of talented artists from New England. With an impressive 65% increase in income over the previous year, NH Art Association has shown financial resilience and growth, achieving a positive balance for the first time in three years. All of these accomplishments are a testament to the exceptional work they've achieved with a small but mighty team, led by one full-time executive director and supported by four part-time employees. They are truly a force to be celebrated within the art community.
