As many of you know, my fabulous cohost Megan Broberg and I take immense pleasure in hosting opulent luxury tours to Champagne each year. Right now, we find ourselves fully immersed in the meticulous preparations for our highly anticipated 2024 tours. Whilst I must refrain from giving too much away, I am excited to reveal that this year’s tours promise to be some of our best experiences yet! Amidst all this planning, we’ve found ourselves reminiscing about the enchanting memories and magic that was the 2023 tours. Please indulge and join us as we look back on two standout visits from the previous year: R.Pouillon and Frerejean Frères. R.Pouillon was one of the very first Houses we visited and a great way to kick off the Tours. Fabrice Pouillon was a generous host and an immensely talented winemaker, a fantastic introduction to the growers and Grand Marquees we would visit in the following days. Frerejean Frères is always a magical experience, and we were greeted once again by our dear friend and CEO of the House, Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger. We were lucky enough to receive a private tour of the estate, including the stunning vineyard and cellar. So many incredible moments, but I must say the opportunity to taste a Cuvée des Hussards 2012 which had been aged under the sea was certainly a highlight. I am delighted to share that an additional four places have become available on this year’s tour.
